Monologue

After reviewing the video clips of the monologue, I discovered that some of you did not follow the rubric.  I have decided to give those students an opportunity to correct their work, so their grades will not be affected. This grade will count for the next quarterly report (December 2013).

New Due Date:  Friday,October 25, 2013

Important: Those students that do not hand in the video clip on this date during the class will not be able to hand it in at all. If you think you may be absent that Friday, please make the necessary arrangements to hand in your work on time.

O. Henry Monologue

I have decided to move the due date of this assignment to Thursday, October 3rd.  Those students that are able to hand in the video and who have followed the instructions accordingly, can hand it in on the original date and receive a 3 point bonus. Make sure you have all the elements in the video, so you won´t lose points. Please post an "OKAY", so I will know you entered the blog. Enjoy your weekend.

Part 2 of the O. Henry Life and Works Test

Just a friendly reminder that you will be taking the second part of the test this Monday. The test will include reading comprehension and analysis for the short story, "The Last Leaf".  There will be also a section for the different types of irony.
